Role and placement: Business Development Trainee Corrugated Solutions, Solna

What do you do in your role? Easily described, my role is to develop our business and find new business opportunities. It can be everything from improving the ways we are doing business today as well as finding new ways of doing business in terms of services, solutions or business models. A big part of my job is to figure out how we can create more value for our customers.

What is the best part with your job? The best part about my job is that it can include everything. All my days look different and every day I get the chance to interact with a lot of interesting people in various settings. Another thing I like about my job is that I continuously help to drive our business forward; there is always room for improvement. This in combination with being part of the trainee program is fantastic.

Why do you recommend others to apply to BillerudKorsnäs Trainee program? According to me, taking part in a trainee program is a great way to start your career. Being a trainee at BillerudKorsnäs is a unique opportunity to gain a better understanding for the company and also meet talented, hard-working and friendly people within the whole organization.

What really caught my interest was the structure of the program. I think the combination of being part of the program but also having one specific role at your home department is great. This gives me the chance to contribute through my role within Business Development and at the same time learn as much as possible about the company.

If you want to work for a company that contributes to make the future more sustainable, this is definitely a company for you. BillerudKorsnäs is so much more than just a traditional player within the forest industry.

Favorite package? Tetra Recart. It is an excellent example of how conventional packaging can be challenged!
