Technical Trainee Programme
At BillerudKorsnäs we challenge conventional packaging for a sustainable future! Continuing to challenge conventional methods requires a good balance of new skills and experience. We are therefore seeking the next generation of innovators for our technical trainee programme.
The BillerudKorsnäs technical trainee programme provides participants with a natural and complete introduction to our business. As a participant, you will become familiar with our entire value chain and production process required to create first-class and renewable materials. At the same time, you will have a great opportunity to build a strong network of expert colleagues for a future career within the company. The programme also aims to stimulate personal development among participants with in-depth knowledge about your own future role. The goal is for the programme to lead to a future professional role with us at BillerudKorsnäs.
The programme comprises training combined with an internship for a period of six months. We provide an extensive introduction with insight into the entire process, from forest to customer. With visits to our production plants, forests and customer events, the programme offers an excellent foundation for you to build upon. As a trainee, you are recruited to a department at one of our mills where you will focus on building knowledge and experience about that specific business and your future role.
The technical trainee program is aimed at those who want to work in production, operation or maintenance. You have at least upper secondary school degree, preferably with a focus on technology, science or electricity, or alternatively other experience or competence in the area. Most important of all is that you have the desire to grow; we encourage innovative thinking among employees and reward good performance.
The next technical trainee program starts on September 1, 2021 where we are looking for process operators, automation technicians and mechanics for our 5 Swedish mills Skärblacka, Frövi, Gruvön, Gävle and Karlsborg. You can read more about and apply for one of the 24 positions HERE via Available Vacancies during the application period that is open between March 1 and April 11 2021.
