BillerudKorsnäs’ dedicated Team Tetra Pak will pave the way for an even better, strategic long term partnership with our, by far, largest customer Tetra Pak.

BillerudKorsnäs is proud to be Tetra Pak’s largest supplier of liquid carton board. Our goal is to enhance and further develop our collaboration into a vital and strategic long term partnership delivering high quality products and services. That’s why we invest in a Customer Excellence Program and a dedicated core team, committed to working solely with Tetra Pak, in all parts of the world.

“The members in our Tetra Pak team cover all functions from key account management, technical service, customer service specialists and other key functions needed to drive our joint business forward”, says Håkan Pettersson, Business Director for Team Tetra Pak at BillerudKorsnäs. “The recent reorganisation with our factories reporting to the Division will also strengthen our customer focus and enable a faster decision process.”

A dedicated Tetra Pak team will strengthen our business relationship on a central, cluster and local market level and is an important part of our commitment. The aim of our investment in a Customer Excellence Program is also to deepen our understanding for Tetra Pak’s business challenges and opportunities. To have Charles Brand, Cluster Vice President, Europe & Central Asia, speaking at BillerudKorsnäs’ Top Leadership Conference in February was therefore widely appreciated.

“Having Charles Brand sharing Tetra Pak’s market perspective gave us all valuable insights on how we as a strategic supplier can add value to meet the challenges ahead”, says Håkan. “By aligning our strategies we can create value for Tetra Pak by co-developing innovative, sustainable solutions with a long-term perspective.”

“Our collaboration program for new product launches has already increased. We will, for example, shortly test launch a brown unbleached carton board with improved environmental credentials within the Craft family for Tetra Pak portion packs.”

To further improve our customer understanding our CEO Petra Einarsson and Head of Division Board Mikael Andersson visited Tetra Pak Turkey in March. On the program was a factory visit in Izmir as well as a visit to one of Tetra Pak’s customers, and of course a number of meetings. All with the purpose to help align our strategies and strengthen our long term business relations.
