BillerudKorsnäs is assessed continuously by numerous customers and analysts through surveys about performance and work methods. This is fully in line with our ambition to provide stakeholders with a solid basis for their evaluation of our business.



Dow Jones Sustainability Indices We are one of the leading companies of the Containers and Packaging industry in Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) based on our total sustainability score in 2021. We are included in the World Index, which means that we are among the top 10 percent most sustainable companies in the world - for the forth year in a row.


CDP BillerudKorsnäs reports to CDP Climate, Water and Forest annually. CDP assesses companies on the comprehensiveness of their disclosure, their awareness and management of environmental risks and their demonstration of best practices associated with environmental leadership.

EcoVadis BillerudKorsnäs received in 2020 the EcoVadis Platinum medal, the highest rating level, thus being in the top of the evaluated companies. The EcoVadis assessment is an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of CSR into their business and management system.

S&P Global SAM Sustainability We received the Gold class distinction for our excellent sustainability performance in the SAM Sustainability Yearbook 2021. The report analyses and ranks more than 4,700 companies on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) issues.

Sustainalytics In July 2021, BillerudKorsnäs received an ESG Risk Rating of 9.2 and was assessed by Sustainalytics to be at negligible risk of experiencing material financial impacts from ESG factors.
